some very talented riders that I feel very lucky to have on board. I promised Diamondback
that I would deliver a team that could represent them at the highest level nationally,
as well as being able to hit out on a global scale. The team is unique in structure;
I believe we can produce results in competition and media which can rival that of
any team around”.

Well known as a trials rider, Ashton has created a team
to excel in all competitive arenas. Sam Pilgrim for dirt jump and slopestyle; Rowan
Johns street trial and Ben Savage the current British Trials Champion. All of them
will bring their unique talents to the team. Johns will also be the team’s video
producer and is looking forward to producing some great content for the Diamondback
website as well as YouTube.

Ashton went on to say,
"With these three riders alongside me I feel we can put a great year together. I
will be riding as hard as ever. I already have several trips planned for photo shoots
with MBUK. I will also be very keen to get back on the road with the Animal Bike
Tour. In the past The Bike Tour has visited some amazing venues and 2008 will be
no different. We are planning stops at many major city centres, as well as some
high profile appearances at the big music festivals and sports events throughout
the year. With over 50 dates already it is going to be a very busy year. I look
forward to seeing you all during 2008." |
